For over 30 years, Nuttall Gear has been supplying the metals industry with a wide variety of gear drives for its many diverse applications. Our flattener, leveler, pinch roll, pinion stand, re-coiler, un-coiler, and slitter gear drives are currently in service at several mills and metal process lines globally.
Some of the many features available include:
- Alloy steel gearing (through hardened or carburized and ground)
- Single Speed or Multi-speed (shifters) gear train variations either manual, pneumatic or hydraulic shifting
- Splash oil lubricated gears and bearings or customized forced oil lubrication systems
- Custom Solid or hollow output shaft
- “Zero Backlash” gearing for either momentary or full torque reversal loading
- Standard English or “Hard Metric” designs
